The drive in the autumn was very scenic. Within great range of Brunswick (~20 minutes), Portland (~30-40 minutes pending where you are going), and was about 1.5 hours to Camden.
There was a snafu where the cleaner unexpectedly needed to leave when prepping the Airbnb/spare towels were not on site at arrival, but Wildwood Collective was very responsive in following up and the cleaner dropped off the towels the same evening we checked in.

No smoking is permitted inside the house. If you must smoke, please do so outside and dispose of butts properly. Any violation of this policy is subject to a $500 fee.
EXCESSIVE CLEANING FEES
We kindly ask that guests treat the home with care and respect. Should the property require cleaning beyond the standard turnover—due to excessive mess or incidents involving bodily fluids such as blood, vomit, or waste—a $500 fee may apply. Any linens or furnishings damaged beyond repair will also be subject to replacement charges. These situations are considered outside the scope of routine housekeeping and require specialized attention to ensure the safety and well-being of our team.
ACCURATE GUEST COUNT
The number of guests must be accurately disclosed at the time of booking. While we don’t charge extra for additional guests up to the home’s maximum occupancy, this information is essential so we can properly prepare and stock the home. Please note that penalties may apply if guest counts are inaccurate or intentionally misrepresented.
OUTSIDE SERVICE PROVIDERS
Outside staff such as private chefs, massage therapists, or other service providers are welcome, but prior approval is required before they come on-site.

We had a great time staying at this tiny house
We had a great time staying at this tiny house as it had all the things we needed for a relaxing getaway. It was cozy but also spacious enough at the same time. We enjoyed hanging out at the loft, where the host provided some games and books. The cabin uses well water which took some getting used to, but overall, we wouldn't mind coming back! 🙂

We had such an amazing time at Cedar Brook Cabin! It was charming, cozy, clean and well equipped. The location is fairly secluded but close to various hikes and outdoor activities. Lauren and Chris were great hosts and made our stay at the Cabin feel like a home away from home. We are already looking forward to our next stay!

My boyfriend and I give this place a 5-star review! The tiny home was clean, organized and had everything we could possibly need for a weekend getaway! We were so sad to leave and wished we had a few more days booked there! We both would also HIGHLY recommend stopping at the Village Store for any essentials and pizza! So yummy!

We experienced a wonderful stay and really enjoyed our getaway. The home was lovely and just what we were looking to try out as far as size goes. We have been researching going tiny for some time and this was a great way to give it a try and take a rest from this crazy year. We cooked most of our meals and even did some baking during our stay. We so enjoyed the night sounds from the loft windows at night and watching the beautiful sunsets. We walked the Big Falls Preserve down the road and the waterfalls were lovely to see and hear. New Gloucester country store gave you that small town country feel and the people and food were awesome. We will definitely recommend this home y friends and family.

We had a great two-night stay at this cozy house! Even though it rained most of the time, the place was warm, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The main bedroom was private and cozy, and the loft space was a fun extra spot to sleep. We flipped a coin on who got the loft.
The kitchen was really well stocked with a gas stove, oven, microwave, and more—perfect for cooking meals. The WiFi was fast, and we enjoyed watching shows on the Smart TV. The beds were super comfy.
It’s a peaceful place with lots of thoughtful touches. We’d definitely come back!

We had a lot of fun and relaxation at Cedar Brook Cabin and would highly recommend it for Mainers and visitors to our great state as well. Too many thoughtful amenities to list. I worked remotely from the cabin so you know the Wi-Fi is excellent and strong. Being so close to Big Falls Preserve and Norumbega Cidery was a delightful bonus!

What a wonderful airbnb! The pictures and descriptions are exactly as described. The house is artfully detailed, very clean, and super comfortable. Check-in was easy and the hosts are very quick to respond. The house has everything you need to make meals and feel cozy. There are games, high speed internet, all the privacy you could want, all the tv channels you could ask for if that’s your thing, and quite comfortable beds. The location is just down the road from a local market and brewery, and just 20 minute drive through the intervale to Freeport. High recommendations.

As a veterinarian I enjoyed how you listed the vet office for those that traveled with pets. It was a good home base to adventure out from . We also enjoyed exploring the woods down the block.

My only suggestion is to bring grippy socks or indoor-only shoes to go up and down the ladders. Due to the sand in the area, there’s no wearing shoes in the house.

We had a fantastic time in Maine! It took us a minute to get used to tiny living with our family of 3 + 2 small dogs, but once we did it was incredibly refreshing to realize what little we actually need to be happy. We spent time at Pineland Farms (highly recommend! Just 10 mins away) and in Portland (20-25 mins away). Go lobstering with Lucky Catch! Such a blast. 🙂 The house was cozy and clean. We loved having a bonfire and looking up at the stars at night. We can’t wait to come back!

We had a wonderful stay at this cool tiny house! There were great walking trails close by and the property was within a 30 minute drive to shopping, breweries, and other fun things to explore! Additionally, the hosts were very easy to communicate with and they made the check-in and check-out smooth.

Nice organized binder with recommendations on places to go and things to do in the area. The loft to relax in at night with the skylight that you can open and get the fresh night air and pop up to see the stars at night really capped off a peaceful vacation we were looking for.

The loft was a cozy place to watch movies. We loved the outside space including the fire pit and grill - only small area of improvement we could think of would be to have some cover outside so we could be outside even in the rain. The best Airbnb we’ve stayed in! As other reviewers mentioned, it really is just like the pictures. They included very thoughtful touches throughout the cabin. We were a family of four and our kids are old enough to enjoy the sleeping loft. It was plenty of space for us. If you’ve ever wanted to try a tiny house, try this one!

This was our second stay at a Wildwood Collective property this year (prev. stayed at Camp Mt. Holly back in March, highly recommend!), and they are fantastic hosts. They're excellent communicators with consistent attention to detail that is noticeable from the moment you enter one of their properties.
Now onto Cedar Brook Cabin, a tiny house that punches above its weight. The cabin itself feels deceptively bigger than it is by square footage. This is accomplished by creative use of space, with strongly defined areas, and by inviting in as much light as possible via the many windows and skylights. Our family of four slept comfortably and didn't feel like we were on top of each other (even though we were). The home itself is well appointed, with everything we needed for our weeklong stay. Outside the cabin, the Breeo fire pit and the Adirondack chairs are a great way to catch a sunset and wrap up the day.
New Gloucester itself is in an ideal centralized location that allowed us to do a lot of exploring. Locally, we hiked Big Falls Preserve, took the kids to Pineland, hit up Norumbega Cidery, and had great meals at Yolked and Intervale Pizza and Village Market. We made day trips to the Freeport area (Wolfe's Neck Woods, Popham Beach, Maine Beer Co. & Royal River Grill House), the Lake Sebago area (rented a boat from Sebago Lake Marina, dinner at Sportsman's Kitchen & Keg), and made multiple trips to the Portland area (Casco Bay Custom Charters to Fort Scammel, ferry to Peaks Island, Highroller Lobster Co., Children's Museum and Portland Head Light to name a few).

This place is wonderful, it’s everything you want out of a big tiny home, and the TV/Reading loft was like a grown up tree house… I stayed here to get an idea of this tiny home brand and I am SOLD! Easy drive to lovely attractions, and the host is perfectly responsive and helpful. My little dogs and I were very happy. Though set on a gravel road, it’s surprisingly well-travelled, so you can definitely hear the cars going by, and more than I expected! Really cool little spot.

I spent 2 weeks at the Cedar Brook Cabin for a personal work retreat with my daughter. The home design was inspiring and beautiful. Everyone on my video conferences wanted to know where I was! The space is incredibly functional and well-appointed. Never did we feel cramped or uncomfortable. The location is rural and quiet. It was all around a wonderful place for a retreat, a vacation, or simply some peaceful time with yourself/friend/family in a gorgeous setting.

This was a wonderful place to stay for 3 nights while picking our kids up at camp. I was able to easily work remotely from the cabin (great wifi) and we found the kitchen to be exactly what we needed - and everything was modern and clean. Great areas to walk in preserves on nice trails very nearby for the mornings and evenings. Maples Bakery not to be missed. Beds were very comfortable. My 9 year old, who spent one night with us says: “I liked the lofts, they were cool and comfy, and I want to come back.”

The photos are incredible, but the Cedar Brook Cabin is even more beautiful in person! We really loved the space - it’s perfectly decorated and the layout it so functional and thoughtful. The weather was pretty rainy so we spent all of our time cooking, watching movies, and doing the puzzle they had in the loft. We are looking forward to coming back in the future when the weather will allow for us to make use of the fire pit!

This charming little house was exactly as described....perfectly set up and ready for a cozy stay! The dimmable lights, soft throw blankets, and lovely decor made it feel so inviting. It's the ideal size for a couple (and a pup!), but it was just me and my mini poodle this time. We spent our evenings snuggled up in the loft watching movies, cooked delicious meals in the well-equipped kitchen, and soaked in stunning sunsets and sunrises from both sides of the house. I can't wait to book with Wildwood Collective again!

This place is so beautiful and on the last day of our stay it snowed which was really the cherry on top. The kitchen was also fully loaded with everything we needed when we were cooking. Literally everything and anything you’d need for your stay they had. 10/10

This is a beautiful tiny house that was a perfect getaway. If you've ever wanted to try out a tiny house, do it! Hosts were perfect, excellent communication. The place is perfectly stocked with everything you need and all appliances and utilities were in perfect working order. There's a washer/dryer as well, and a tub/shower combo that was great. The TV loft was a lovely space to hang out and watch TV.

The tiny house was so cute! We loved hanging out in the loft and relaxing by the fireplace. It snowed during our stay, and it was so cozy watching the snow falling through the windows. They had a lot of good suggestions for places to go for food and other things to do. We had a great time and would definitely stay again.

This large “tiny house” was perfect for a halfway meeting point with my son and his girlfriend who are students at the College of the Atlantic on MDI. It was super well-designed, clean, and comfortable. The fire pit was awesome as well.
The highlight was that we had a number of gorgeous walks/snowshoe hikes in the area: end of the road falls, Bradford State Park and Pisgah Hill Preserve. The fresh snow was simply perfect!

Our stay here in late February was cozy and quiet. Being surrounded by woods and farms made for a tranquil spot to recharge. Situated on a hill, the house has a gorgeous view of protected wetlands, and of the sunset, too. We were treated to lots of birdsong, bald eagles flying overhead and a beautiful neighborhood for our daily dog walks.

It was a bit stormy while we were there so we didn't use the outdoor space, but it looked very inviting. Instead we enjoyed toasty heat from the indoor faux wood stove.
The house is on a dirt road which, after the heavy rain we got, became a bit bumpy and rutted but not impassable by any means. We enjoyed seeing people trot by on their horses from time to time. The nature preserve at the end of the road is beautiful (and dog friendly) and worth a visit if you like to hike!
Overall this is a great location, easy to places like Portland, the peninsulas and other mid-coast points, and central Maine lakes.
There is a nearby village store for essentials and gas station in town.

I stayed at Cedar Brook Cabin in early February of 2022. It was a wonderful solo getaway! I arrived on a Monday night and locked myself in until Wednesday morning, enjoying the ambiance of tiny living and relishing in the cozy features of the home. The beds are incredibly comfortable, the “wood stove” added just the right amount of heat, and the loft for lounging was a perfect place for me to stretch out and get work done. I went to Cedar Brook to see if I would enjoy the tiny home life and I can say with confidence that Wildwood Collective made the experience completely worth it! Thank you for the excellent stay!

Wildwood Collective’s Tiny Home in New Gloucester, Maine was wonderful! It was beautiful inside and out, and definitely felt like a luxury experience. The hosts were so responsive and proactive, and I appreciated it a lot. 10/10 would go again, and I’m already looking forward to my next Wildwood Collective stay!

We (2 adults, 1 kid) would absolutely stay here again. We didn’t find ourselves needing anything. It was warm and cozy. Kid loved the lounge area, which he quickly claimed as his spot. Kitchen was fun to cook in. Comfy beds. Nice amenities all around, speedy WiFi. Place was spotless, too. Sadly, our fabulous stay was cut short a day short by an impending snow storm (our choice).

The description, photos, and previous reviews were spot on! Place was just what we were looking for to get away for a quiet weekend away. Portland is a quick 35 min drive, snowshoeing at Pineland Farms was 8 min away, and skiing at Sunday River was a quick 1:15 hr drive.

We were looking for a relaxing escape after spending a portion of our summer vacation in Boston. We took the train up and rented a car in Portland. We knew we were on the right path after driving through Maine's beautiful countryside in the summer. This place definitely delivered. The view was incredible, the wildflowers were in bloom, and the home gave our family of 4 a small place for our family to reconnect; but was also just big enough to give us each our own private spaces. We enjoyed visiting the cidery at the end of the road, hiking the 2 trails nearby and frequenting the Intervale Pizza and Market down the road (be sure to get a Whoopie Pie). You are also not too far from Freeport, which is our new favorite place in the world.

My daughter and I stayed here for two nights in the middle of a Maine heat wave (highs of 100!) but the cabin was cool and lovely. It's tiny but completely comfortable for the two of us. Go to Yolked for their AMAZING dinner, buy a bottle of wine, and eat dinner at the picnic table overlooking the wilds. Then go for a sunset walk up the road. Awesome experience. Quiet, remote, glorious.

While we were staying there, we went shopping in Freeport, went to the Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens, and boated on Lake Sebago. Little touches like the welcome tray of snacks and dog bone for my little pup, games, books and the Beekman brand of shampoo, conditioner and lotion that is provided made it feel warm, welcoming and special. Has everything you need to make a get-away enjoyable and relaxing. Nice quiet country road for walking the dog and within a short distance of amenities and hiking areas. Absolutely perfect!

Birds, sunsets, stars and a fire pit round out this fun, tiny house. Not too far from plenty of the local attractions. We ABSOLUTELY LOVED our stay here!! Yes it’s a tiny house but the space is so well utilized you don’t feel anything is lacking. And the attention to detail is just incredible. Don’t forget to look everywhere - there’s beautiful things in every corner, from a gorgeous vase of pampas grass perched high above the kitchen, to the crystals in the bathroom, the gorgeous light fixtures, hanging macrame deer, etc etc. Loved the Beekman shower products in the shower, and luxury hotel quality mattress and pillows. This was also our first stay anywhere not home since the beginning of COVID (18 months), and Lauren messaged repeatedly to reassure me of their high cleanliness and sanitation standards and the cabin was spotless upon arrival. Top notch hospitality. Also, we did have to work and the WiFi was way faster than ours at home and supported about 11 devices all going at the same time with no problems. It was super easy to check-in and check-out and our only regret is we didn’t have more time there!!!

The high-end touches made it feel like a boutique hotel and we didn’t want to leave. The space was beautifully designed every detail of the interior was thoughtfully curated, creating a warm, cozy, and stylish atmosphere. Even though our weekend was filled with rain and thunderstorms, we ended up embracing the weather and had an unforgettable time indoors. The loft was the perfect cozy hideaway to snuggle up with the family to watch movies and play board games while the storm rolled through. The sound of rain on the roof only added to the charm. The home came fully stocked with everything we needed, from kitchen essentials to comfy blankets. Parking was a breeze, and the host was incredibly responsive and professional throughout our stay. While we missed out on some outdoor adventures and the chance to enjoy a BBQ, the comfort and design of the home made staying in a real treat. Definitely recommend this Charm!

Ive stayed in tiny homes before and this place didn't even feel small. It was perfect size and super cute. I loved how it had both downstairs and loft bedroom options ( sometimes the ladders can be a lot when you need to get up at night). It also had an additional loft space with a TV . It was private and quiet and had beautiful backyard on the wildlife reserve with a ton of birds. We got to see some deer passing by in the woods.

Amazing home and stay! As all guests previously mentioned it was the small touches that truly made this place special. There is nothing like looking out this homes skylight in the pitch darkness of the Maine sky, and stargazing. We really enjoyed the fireplace, the string lights, and the coziness of this home. It was a little hot during our stay but opening up the windows let in a great breeze - and there are plenty of windows to allow the sun. Also - this is well water so bring your own water if you’re not used to well water, and don’t expect strong water pressure either, this is Maine living folks! We loved our stay, check out the Yolked Food truck and Wolfs Neck State park - you won’t regret it.

Great location about a half hour outside of Portland. It is a nice spot to stay in and just relax or go back to after a day exploring. Best of both worlds here. The amenities were all there for us and the hosts were very communicative with us throughout the duration of our stay. We will definitely be back.

Great place, great location if you're looking to be in the country but near a lot of activity - not too near - but an easy drive to great country stuff and to all the coast and mountains have to offer. Really enjoyed sitting outdoors at sunset and listening to the wildlife as the sun set over the river valley and the hills. Grab a gourmet pizza and some excellent beers from Intervale Store, and enjoy!

Cedar Brook was an absolute dream to stay for for
Cedar Brook was an absolute dream to stay for for a few days. The interior is even more gorgeous in person and everything is accessible/ easy to find. The area is nice and quiet, so it’s perfect for the relaxing get away with its crisp clean air and sounds of birds chirping. It’s well stocked with cleaning supplies for any cleanups you may need along with kitchenware, games, extra towels. New Gloucester in itself has a bunch of hiking trails and there’s some falls down the road from the cabin which are lovely to explore. The village store nearby has AMAZING pizza too. Portland isn’t far either and makes for a fun day trip.
The owners make check in/ out very easy with detailed instructions.
If you’re considering staying here, absolutely do it. My partner and I would 10/10 come back 🙂

This listing was totally accurate, and the hosts were friendly and responsive. I was able to sneak in some hiking and listened to the peepers and the birdsong at dusk, as well as an owl hooting in the night. This was a cozy space and I'd recommend it.

This cozy home was exactly what we needed to rest and reset! We walked the dogs down to the Big Falls Preserve every day, ordered Cider from the local Cidery down the street. Everything was perfect which made it really hard to leave!

We had a beautiful stay at Wildwood Collective's in Maine. It was Thanksgiving and so peaceful and quiet. I was able to cook a full Thanksgiving roast with all the fixings in the kitchen that I thought had all the amenities it needed to do so. This stay was an escape needed from our busy lifestyle!

Tons of great hiking (start by walking up the road for sure and hitting the trails at top of road) we got in some (cidery is seasonal) breweries, Maine point was a hit. Attention to detail in this tiny home is wonderfully done and thought out! BYOwater!!! We brought in our own if you are a water connoisseur! The Loft and Skylight were my personal favorite to look through at the stars at night... and spent some time reading comfortably! looking forward to checking out more of their places!! Cheers!

The Cedar Brook Cabin was a great mixture of being a close enough drive to town but still private with limited neighbors. The roads leading to the Airbnb are paved right up until the street it is located on, which is dirt, but where you park the car on the property is gravel.
The drive in the autumn was very scenic. Within great range of Brunswick (~20 minutes), Portland (~30-40 minutes pending where you are going), and was about 1.5 hours to Camden.
There was a snafu where the cleaner unexpectedly needed to leave when prepping the Airbnb/spare towels were not on site at arrival, but Wildwood Collective was very responsive in following up and the cleaner dropped off the towels the same evening we checked in.

This cabin was great! The owners were responsive and left plenty of helpful local recommendations. We brought our pups and went on a hike at Bradbury Mountain State Park and stopped by the Brickyard Brewery. The best part about this spot was the view…the house is located on a hill so you can see over the trees, it’s truly breathtaking. We will definitely be looking into other Wildwood locations for future getaways.

This cozy-chic retreat had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway in central Maine. The setting was great – secluded and peaceful but not isolated, with a handful of neighbors on the same quiet gravel road. A 35-minute drive into Portland, or about 20 minutes to either Freeport or Yarmouth, put many activities and dining options within easy reach. The owners responded quickly to our questions during the stay. We would recommend this place to others, and would not hesitate to stay here or at another Wildwood property in the future!
Notes on the space and layout: This place was just right for a couple, but travelers with kids or more than two adults might find it a bit tight in some situations. In the main bedroom, one side of the bed is against the wall, so be ready to negotiate one person having a phone charger or glass of water with reach, and the other willing to climb over to get out. Had a great few days stay at the Wildwood Collective. A beautiful tiny home, that was very spacious, beautiful unobstructed views of the sunset overlooking pure nature, and walking distance from a beautiful easy trail. I was prepared with lots of food and snacks, since there isn’t too much in the area for that, but I made great use of the lovely kitchen. The space was so clean and neighborhood is so peaceful. Definitely recommend this Airbnb when it is the fall - the autumn leaves are so beautiful.

The house looked just like the pictures. Everything was clean and the Internet worked great. As others have commented, you do have to drive 25 or so minutes to get into town, but there are several good restaurants under the 15 minute mark.

Cute tiny house - looked just like the pictures! We didn't use the outside areas during our stay, but inside was basically all as described. Some highlights: kitchen appliances & amenities all worked great for our cooking needs, loft area was a fun hangout spot, shower stayed toasty warm, and A/C & heating units kept the temps & humidity in the sweet spot for us (as needed). Pretty quiet neighborhood and beautiful woods behind the property. Check-in & check-out were a breeze thanks to their thoughtful instructions & messages.

My friend and I traveled to Maine to see the Fall leaves and this was such a fun alternative to a standard hotel chain. The tiny house is located in a rural area so it was very quiet and peaceful. The home looked just as pictured and our hosts included all of the helpful amenities we would need to feel at home. Instructions for how to operate the alarm, heating system, etc were very helpful and easy to understand. My friend and I slept great and the mattresses were very comfortable. We enjoyed our stay here very much!

We had a lovely weekend at Cedar Brook Cabin. We were visiting our son at Bates College in nearby Lewiston and this turned out to be the perfect place for us to stay. During the day we were able to walk to the end of the road and hike in Big Falls Preserve and visit Norumbega Cidery for a cider tasting. We also visited the Shaker Village at Sabbathday Lake, which was a short drive away. The cabin was a lovely cozy retreat in the evenings. It is very well designed and comfortable. A lot of thought and planning has gone into making this the perfect tiny home from home. Places like Cedar Brook Cabin are why we airbnb!

A wonderful little getaway to relax and rest with beautiful surroundings. A quick little hop to Freeport for fun adventures (especially Mare Point Oysters, a suggestion from Wildwood Collective). Wildwood Collective were very responsive and helpful. We had so much fun cooking on the grill and roasting marshmallows over the fire. Have yourself a relaxing weekend and book away with no worries 🙂

Check-in and check out was seamless and the hosts were very communicative. We didn’t actually cook, but the newly renovated kitchen seemed fully stocked with all the equipment and tools you would need. Everything was clean and pretty much exactly as they appear in the pics. What a great find — would def recommend!
