We were looking for a place for several family members to stay while visiting relatives in Callicoon. This place was perfect. Three queen beds, two twin beds, three bathrooms. Everything clean and comfortable. Five minute drive to Callicoon business center. No hassles, no problems.

Five Acres Farm was a lovely place to stay to attend a wedding in Callicoon. The hosts were receptive and responded quickly to all inquiries. Cell phone service in the area is very spotty, so it can be difficult to get around with GPS cutting in and out, but the hosts notified us of this before our stay. The home was very clean and well maintained. Comfortable for a group of 8 for the weekend.

We were looking for a place for several family members to stay while visiting relatives in Callicoon. This place was perfect. Three queen beds, two twin beds, three bathrooms. Everything clean and comfortable. Five minute drive to Callicoon business center. No hassles, no problems.

Primary guest booking must be 25 years or older. The person booking should also not have any negative reviews.
PETS
Well-behaved dogs are allowed with prior approval (and $75 fee per pet, per stay). Please clean up after your pet both inside and outside the house. Sorry, cats are not permitted.
Failure to disclose any pets in advance may result in additional fees or penalties.
SMOKING
No smoking is permitted inside the house. If you must smoke, please do so outside and dispose of butts properly. Any violation of this policy is subject to a $500 fee.
EXCESSIVE CLEANING FEES
We kindly ask that guests treat the home with care and respect. Should the property require cleaning beyond the standard turnover—due to excessive mess or incidents involving bodily fluids such as blood, vomit, or waste—a $500 fee may apply. Any linens or furnishings damaged beyond repair will also be subject to replacement charges. These situations are considered outside the scope of routine housekeeping and require specialized attention to ensure the safety and well-being of our team.
ACCURATE GUEST COUNT
The number of guests must be accurately disclosed at the time of booking. While we don’t charge extra for additional guests up to the home’s maximum occupancy, this information is essential so we can properly prepare and stock the home. Please note that penalties may apply if guest counts are inaccurate or intentionally misrepresented.
OUTSIDE SERVICE PROVIDERS
Outside staff such as private chefs, massage therapists, or other service providers are welcome, but prior approval is required before they come on-site.
SUPPLEMENTAL AGREEMENTS
Guests may be required to sign a rental agreement. If applicable, it will be sent after the booking is confirmed.
SEPTIC
Please be mindful of the septic system and do not flush anything down the toilets or drains other than toilet paper. This includes any and all personal hygiene products, baby wipes, bleaches and strong chemical cleaners.

Our stay at the farmhouse was stellar from start to finish with an extremely easy check in process.
It was an enjoyable opportunity to enjoy the serene and secluded surroundings of the house, we spent nearly every day soaking up the sun in the beautiful land around the house. A short drive away you can find Callicoon center with excellent restaurants, breweries, distilleries right on UIpper Main St.
The house is extremely spacious offering logistically great common rooms for chilling with your entire group as well as enough rooms and bathrooms for everyone to have their own space.
It's an excellent home away from home to disconnect in the Catskills with everything you might need for your stay including BBQ grill.

The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare elaborate meals for our large group. The house is situated near a few towns and is the perfect place for a fun and restful time in the Catskills. The property is beautiful, nestled in the bucolic landscape yet still a close drive to Callicoon and Jeffersonville. The house was older but well furnished and clean. The hosts were helpful and responsive. It was a great stay in a beautiful setting!

Ideal place for a family reunion at Christmas, easily accessible from New-York. We enjoyed these quality moments in spite of the cold and we rested for a few days.

Beautiful farm house in a secluded setting. We were a group of 5 women and it was so nice to each have our own bedroom plus 3 bathrooms. Very spacious, nicely updated and so peaceful. Crisp air and could see so many stars at night.

Five Acres Farm was a wonderful retreat for our family vacation. The house was very well appointed and clean. We had everything we needed to cook meals, but town is close, so we had the option of going out as well. The property is quiet and serene. We would definitely stay here again!

We stayed at Five Acres Farm with 4 adults and 3 children (1, 3, and 4 years old) and it was nearly perfect. The house and setting was absolutely beautiful and the house was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. There were also plenty of fun things to do in the area. Our only concern was the temperature and maybe it was just unfortunate timing, but it was a hot and sticky long weekend and the house and bedrooms were too hot despite of using all fans provided. I didn’t deduct any stars for this as the description does state that there is no airconditioning. Also, if we didn’t have young children, we would have probably been out more and not have noticed it so much. I would still highly recommend this beautiful home in fun area though, just the temperature is just something to be mindful of, yet you will not regret your decision of booking this beautiful and spacious home.

You won’t believe your eyes as your drive up to this magnetic farm house. The house is clean, spacious and nicely decorated. Kitchen is fully stocked. The best part of the trip was waking up in the morning to the fall views and early morning mist- a definite pinch yourself moment. So close to Callicoon, a 7 min drive, so lots of places to eat out. We really enjoyed Local and The Old Foundation for dinner.

The house came equipped with all kitchen essentials, linens, soap etc. The surrounding area is beautiful, and there's plenty of activities in Sullivan County. I would recommend Red's Cottage to anyone looking for a getaway in upstate New York!
