Primary guest booking must be 25 years or older. The person booking should also not have any negative reviews.
PETS
Well-behaved dogs are allowed with prior approval (and $75 fee per pet, per stay). Please clean up after your pet both inside and outside the house. Sorry, cats are not permitted.
Failure to disclose any pets in advance may result in additional fees or penalties.
SMOKING
No smoking is permitted inside the house. If you must smoke, please do so outside and dispose of butts properly. Any violation of this policy is subject to a $500 fee.
EXCESSIVE CLEANING FEES
We kindly ask that guests treat the home with care and respect. Should the property require cleaning beyond the standard turnover—due to excessive mess or incidents involving bodily fluids such as blood, vomit, or waste—a $500 fee may apply. Any linens or furnishings damaged beyond repair will also be subject to replacement charges. These situations are considered outside the scope of routine housekeeping and require specialized attention to ensure the safety and well-being of our team.
ACCURATE GUEST COUNT
The number of guests must be accurately disclosed at the time of booking. While we don’t charge extra for additional guests up to the home’s maximum occupancy, this information is essential so we can properly prepare and stock the home. Please note that penalties may apply if guest counts are inaccurate or intentionally misrepresented.
OUTSIDE SERVICE PROVIDERS
Outside staff such as private chefs, massage therapists, or other service providers are welcome, but prior approval is required before they come on-site.
SUPPLEMENTAL AGREEMENTS
Guests may be required to sign a rental agreement. If applicable, it will be sent after the booking is confirmed.
SEPTIC
Please be mindful of the septic system and do not flush anything down the toilets or drains other than toilet paper. This includes any and all personal hygiene products, baby wipes, bleaches and strong chemical cleaners.

We booked Hidden Ridge with peace and tranquility in mind. It delivered on all fronts. The space was very clean and tidy. The amenities were everything that we needed. The kitchen was fully stocked and ready for our family memories to be made. We will definitely book with them again.

Amazing place
The property was absolutely perfection! From the mountain views from the windows, the huge yard for the kids to play, and all the space for us to sleep comfortably, we loved it here! Red Cottage was very easy to communicate with and they responded to any questions we had almost immediately. Thank you for an amazing getaway!

Our group of 7 very much enjoyed our time at this rental. Plenty of room for everyone - inside and out. Everything was clean and tidy. Very well-stocked kitchen and new appliances. Master bedroom had an excellent mattress. Beautiful and well-maintained pool with more than enough floaties and toys and a pool house that had a fridge and a restroom.
The host organization was very responsive when we called for help with various items. For example, we had a few troubles with the electronically controlled items (washer, entry keypad). There was a glitch with the trash pick up, but in the end, all was fine.
Finally, the well ran very low toward the end of our stay, resulting in brown water in the house. The host organization was very responsive regarding this issue, but all that could be done was to wait for it to replenish itself. During this time, we used bottled water. After about 24 hours, we were able to shower, but continued to use bottled water for drinking.

We had an unforgettable multigenerational family getaway at this beautiful mountain home. The house was spacious, immaculately maintained, and thoughtfully appointed with everything we needed for a comfortable stay.The kids (and adults!) had a blast in the pool and hot tub, and the large yard was perfect for wiffle ball games and flying kites. One of the most heartwarming highlights was watching our 7-year-old grandson play with his 81-year-old great-grandfather—memories we’ll cherish forever.Evenings around the awesome fire pit were a favorite for everyone, with plenty of room to relax, laugh, and connect. This home truly offered something for every generation. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay and make memories. Highly recommend!

We had a fantastic stay! The house was perfect for relaxing and entertaining, lots of cozy spots to unwind, both inside and out. My wife and I felt completely at home. The host was great with communication: very transparent, always quick to respond, and made everything easy.
The location is beautiful, especially if you enjoy the outdoors. There are plenty of hiking trails nearby, and I highly recommend visiting the Woodstock Farm Sanctuary, such a unique and meaningful experience. If you’re into horseback riding, Ridge Runner Ranch is also close by and worth exploring.
One tip for future guests: plan your meals in advance. While there is a Walmart nearby, dining and grocery options are a bit limited in the immediate area. We prepped ahead of time and had no issues at all.

This place was amazingly beautiful and cozy and clean. Our family spent Christmas there and they made sure to have TWO trees and beautiful decorations, it was like being home. It was located in a very private and peaceful country community, most places about 10-20 miles away. We didn’t go out much because most things were closed due to the holiday. We just enjoyed the hot tub, playing games, cooking in the gorgeous kitchen with a view, dancing, playing with the dogs and watching movies. It was the perfect getaway. The hosts communicated very well and quickly. We couldn’t ask for more. Thank you!

That said, we managed to very comfortably fit three couples and respective babies / kid notwithstanding a severe snow/wind storm (thank you generator).

Our family had a wonderful weekend at the house. Quiet, clean and beautiful. Our dog enjoyed the yard and heated floor in family room. The layout was wonderful, fabulous kitchen, we enjoyed the hot tub and hope to book again in summer when pool is open. Was glad to use the garage for car since it snowed! Expresso machine was great too!Needs a teapot (couldn’t find)and vase for our fresh flowers. We enjoyed playing darts and all the space. Thanks so much!

Our family had a wonderful week! The weather wasn't the most accommodating for use of the pool, but we did enjoy the time we did have..especially the night time swim with the lights and beautiful sunset.
We made use of all the seating areas in the house, it was great for the kids to get space away from the adults and each other when necessary. We made use of the exercise space and also took walks outside when weather permitted.
The fire pit was great for roasting marshmallows and just relaxing. We really enjoyed our time and can't wait to come back next summer!

The house is large and spacious with almost everything you could need. I had a party of 8 and there was more than enough room for us to hangout and eat all at once. The kitchen is packed with every utensil you could need so anything.
The grounds are beautiful. Lawn is well manicured. The pool and the hot tub are amazing. The pool house also has a bathroom, ice maker, fridge and speaker, again everything you could need. There’s a great grill as well.
The host is responsive we needed an item and they responded and were able to accommodate the ask.
My one recommendation is the Walmart and ShopRite are the closest stores but they are a 25 min drive away so make sure you get everyone you need before heading to the house because it’s an hr round trip to pick anything up.

Fully stocked kitchen, ample room to relax and enjoy time together and absolutely beautiful surroundings with wildlife right outside the windows. the hot tub was such a treat and firepit was a great way to enjoy the crisp autumn air with a warm cider. highly recommended and we hope to visit soon again!

My family and I had an amazing time. House was straight from a postcard or a luxury magazine. It’s tucked in and private but we never felt unsafe. Just be sure to get all you need like groceries before you get there as closest Walmart is about 25 mins. Kitchen and bathroom spotless and fully equipped. Anything you can think of was there. We cooked full meals and a bbq. Beds were comfortable no one in our party had any complaints. Even though the house is pet friendly it didn’t smell like dog. The views were gorgeous, the outside patio was very cozy with enough games to play for the whole family. The only downside was that there was a wildfire alert so we weren’t able to use the fireplace which was supposed to be the highlight of our trip but atleast we had the jacuzzi which was spotless as well. The host was good at communicating throughout the stay. Expensive but I had a good birthday 🙂

The house is comfortable with rooms across three floors, which gave us a lot of privacy, especially when kids needed to sleep and the adults wanted to stay up. Lots of room to play inside and outside. Would love to come back.

It was almost perfect and host did everything to make it as comfortable as possible.
Minor issues are
1. For a group of eight persons The main dining table seats only six.
2. Basement has a lot of seating but not enough seating in the family room which is rather small for this size of house.
3. We would have preferred king size beds in master bedroom as it's not very comfortable for two to sleep on a queen .bed.
The above mention points are just finer points and should not take away the fact the we had agracious and kind host and the beautiful landscape and facilities the house provided.
It's for this reason I have given five stars.

An exquisite and captivating home, beautifully appointed throughout - sitting
An exquisite and captivating home, beautifully appointed throughout - sitting on eight manicured and very private acres. We thoroughly enjoyed the property, the heated pool during the day and gazing up at the stars while sitting by the fire pit in the evening. Mary, Beverly and the entire Red Cottage staff were amazing and easy to communicate with, and excelled in terms of quick responsiveness. We spent an absolutely wonderful week at the Hidden Oasis and if it is available, we look forward to returning in 2026 : - )
