The only note I’d make is that the main living room was a bit small / tighter than we’d expected – though there are plenty of hangout spaces in the upstairs and basement as well.

Our family enjoyed a wonderful stay – the house was clean, very well-appointed, and the location is great with Bromley only ~5 minutes away. Our kids also loved their stay in the bunk room! The only note I’d make is that the main living room was a bit small / tighter than we’d expected – though there are plenty of hangout spaces in the upstairs and basement as well.

Well-behaved dogs are allowed with prior approval (and $75 fee per pet, per stay). Please clean up after your pet both inside and outside the house. Sorry, cats are not permitted.
Failure to disclose any pets in advance may result in additional fees or penalties.
SMOKING
No smoking is permitted inside the house. If you must smoke, please do so outside and dispose of butts properly. Any violation of this policy is subject to a $500 fee.
EXCESSIVE CLEANING FEES
We kindly ask that guests treat the home with care and respect. Should the property require cleaning beyond the standard turnover—due to excessive mess or incidents involving bodily fluids such as blood, vomit, or waste—a $500 fee may apply. Any linens or furnishings damaged beyond repair will also be subject to replacement charges. These situations are considered outside the scope of routine housekeeping and require specialized attention to ensure the safety and well-being of our team.
ACCURATE GUEST COUNT
The number of guests must be accurately disclosed at the time of booking. While we don’t charge extra for additional guests up to the home’s maximum occupancy, this information is essential so we can properly prepare and stock the home. Please note that penalties may apply if guest counts are inaccurate or intentionally misrepresented.
OUTSIDE SERVICE PROVIDERS
Outside staff such as private chefs, massage therapists, or other service providers are welcome, but prior approval is required before they come on-site.
SUPPLEMENTAL AGREEMENTS
Guests may be required to sign a rental agreement. If applicable, it will be sent after the booking is confirmed.
SEPTIC
Please be mindful of the septic system and do not flush anything down the toilets or drains other than toilet paper. This includes any and all personal hygiene products, baby wipes, bleaches and strong chemical cleaners.

We enjoyed our stay at the Highland House. The home was just as pictured—clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The kitchen was well-stocked with the basics, making it easy to prepare meals, and the beds were comfortable. The hosts were responsive and helpful, and we appreciated the thoughtful welcome basket with snacks. The location was quiet and convenient for exploring the area. Overall, a pleasant and easy place to stay.

Our family had a terrific two night stay at Lauren's home in Peru. The home is about a 15-20 minute drive from downtown Manchester. The home feels brand new, with nice furnishings, plenty of space and a terrific main floor kitchen/family room. The home is on a very quiet road off of Route 11. We would recommend this home to anyone planning to stay in the area.

The house is actually more beautiful in person than it shows in the pictures!! Really a comfortable, great spot for friends and family to gather, no matter what season of the year 🙂

This property is beautiful. It has everything you will need and more. The spaces were perfect. The first floor had a bunkbed room and living area with games and large TV which was great for the older kids. The house had a great layout. The kitchen was high end and stocked with everything you need to cook. Lots of pillows, towels, and extra blankets were provided. We would definitely stay there again.

Such a fantastic place to stay! The house is gorgeous, as pictured, and feels safe, cosy and private. We loved the fireplace and hot tub which were perfect additions to our ski trip. The kitchen is large and well equipped for cooking for a group. The location is fantastic with plenty of shops and restaurants within an easy drive, and Bromley Mountain Ski just a few minutes away. We extended our stay because we didn’t want to leave, and are already planning our next visit! Thanks team for a fantastic week.

Driveway is a bit steep and can get snowy/icy in the winter but should be fine if you’ve got snow tires/AWD. Property has the driveway plowed as well.

The house is just like the photos. We don’t recall anything being different, other than a fun, kitschy light up Xmas tree in the downstairs game/tv room. Radiant floors with a mini-split system in each room to maintain temperature. Kitchen is well thought-out with everything we needed. Dining table is large. Couch/tv/fireplace area works well for about 4 people. Deck off dining/living room area is large. Upstairs sitting area is just like the pictures, down to the guitar, but generally unused as unneeded for us as a family of 5 (H/W and 3 teen daughters). Upstairs bedroom was nice, good sized. Upstairs bathroom is not en-suite but not needed as the only bedroom upstairs.
Bromley is 5-6 mins away, Stratton 20mins , Magic Mt. 11-12 mins. Manchester Town is 15-20. Snow removal for property was great!

What a beautiful snowy weekend at Highland Haus! This renovated home was a lovely retreat for our group of four adults, three kids and two dogs. It's just five minutes from Bromley and a twenty minute drive to downtown Manchester. The property matched the photos and everything was squeaky clean. We especially loved the comfortable beds, hot tub and expansive views.

Beautiful home that is about 15min from Manchester, which is wonderful to walk around (shops, restaurants). The home is secluded on a nice piece of property in the woods. It was a charming getaway with a wood-burning fireplace and great amenities (games, dart board, hot tub, etc). Highly recommend!

This home provided wonderful accommodations for a family getaway with varying ages. Loved the different common areas to help us all spread out. Very comfortable beds and great bathroom amenities. We loved the quiet area, but still not too far from the mountain or local shops. I think the highlight was the espresso maker we used everyday!

Everything was easy to figure out how to use and the manual was very helpful. The mattresses were a little tough but the sheets and pillows were very soft. The view was fantastic!

The property and home were immaculate, and the home was well stocked with incredibly clear instructions. Hosts were very responsive and accommodating of a special request, when they did not need to be. I would stay here and recommend it, all guests complimented the home and property.

An absolutely incredible stay. We loved the different outdoor spaces available, it really allowed us to enjoy the beautiful outdoors. Everything was beautifully decorated and no details were spared—you could tell the amount of thought that went into this home. Manchester was a quick drive away and we enjoyed exploring the shops and restaurants.
