These situations are considered outside the scope of routine housekeeping and require specialized attention to ensure the safety and well-being of our team.

We loved every single minute of our time at Little River. After months of seeing photos of the cabin online, we finally decided to just go for it and we can't believe we waited so long! From the moment we walked in, we were absolutely smitten with every detail of Lauren and Steven's beautiful home. If you've been thinking of booking a stay with them, we urge you to do it as soon as possible! We are already looking forward to our next stay. It truly is so wonderful! The hosts were also so welcoming with both their communications and the gifts they left for our arrival. Couldn't recommend it more!

Also, the house is ready and fully equipped. If you are looking to bring supplies to cook and grill and not leave the place!!
It is isolated enough to enjoy the silence but close enough to groceries store and a small town if you need something!..

The Red Cottage was everything we hoped for and more:
The Red Cottage was everything we hoped for and more: charming, cozy, and thoughtfully appointed. The space is beautifully maintained, with a blend of rustic charm and modern accoutrements that made for a relaxing stay. We especially loved the lovely furniture! But what really stood out was the incredible setting next to the babbling stream. There were two eagles nesting nearby and they made their presence known every time we walked out the door.
The host was great. Very communicative and pro-active with information, but basically the place was just really easy to access and enjoy. We visited with friends in Callicoon and took a trip over the Narrowsberg, but honestly, I would have been happy to just curl up in the hammock with the eagles at Red Cottage.
My only regret is that we only stayed for 2 nights.

Me and my family booked this place for a weekend. It was a perfect getaway to truly disconnect from the city. The drive wasn’t bad from NYC, only 2 hours, and once arriving everything was what we excepted it to be. The home was a perfect fit our group size of 4 people. There was plenty of space and it never felt crowded. We went for my birthday and I was pleasantly surprised to see a nice card/flowers waiting for me once I entered the house. The space felt extremely welcoming and cozy. I would definitely recommend this place to my family and friends. Definitely will be coming back !

From the unexpected bottle of wine from our hosts, to the ready-to-go firewood, to the tailored booklet with local attractions, every detail was thoughtfully designed. I feel lucky to have found this cabin, which is beside a babbling brook with all the amenities I was looking for in a weekend getaway. The owners were so responsive and caring. There were great farmer's markets, restaurants, and hiking in the area. I will try to return again!

This place is amazing!!! 10/10 had all the things I love ... eco friendly detergent so the linens didn't smell like chemicals, a big deep bathtub, outdoor shower, right on the river, and superrrrr clean .. The only thing is food options can be limited with places closing early & having random times around the spot so bring what you need.

This Airbnb is an absolute dream - the best I’ve stayed at by far. The design of the cabin is so chic and the details and little touches of hospitality are so thoughtful. The cabin was spotless clean and luxurious, a slice of heaven in the middle of nowhere. The hosts are very helpful with quick response times. I wish I could live here!

The little river cabin was one of our favorite Airbnb’s we’ve stayed in a while. The location was absolutely perfect. I love the sound of the stream and how the house looks at beautiful tall pine trees. As a designer, I appreciated the interior of the house and it was very well kept. The cabin was very clean and organized. You had everything you needed and yet it didn’t feel cluttered. The host was thoughtful about every detail and made the stay as easy as possible. I would highly recommend staying here throughout the year. We hope to return someday soon.

The location was ideal to explore all the towns of Sullivan County like Narrowsburg, Livingston Manor, Callicoon, etc. The cabin was everything that we expected and more. It really is as idyllic as it looks in the pictures. We were lucky enough to be there for the big snow storm. The snow, the fire, great cabin, made for the perfect winter wonderland. Definitely would love to come back and experience it again!

The surroundings are beautiful, right next to a river with an outdoor fire pit/gathering area. We absolutely loved our stay here and hope to have the opportunity to stay again!

Inside we found everything we could want and comfort all around.

The cabin is private but not too remote, the interior design is impeccable and the hosts are so welcoming (there were little signs around the cabin that made us feel right at home, and Alana answered any questions about the area very quickly!).
A visit here is highly recommended…. We are already dreaming about our next stay!!

The cabin is very comfortable and served all the needs we wanted for the weekend. The outdoor is beautiful, the ceiling views are stunning and the outdoor sauna is an added bonus. The cabin was clean & the beds were very comfortable. All of slept really well. We would definitely stay again & recommend to others.

Fantastic cabin for a warm, relaxing weekend getaway. The space is modern, very well-stocked, and immaculately cared for. There’s a grocery store 5 minutes away, but there’s not a ton to do in the immediate area (and the road isn’t walkable at all), but if you’re looking for a quiet space for a couple’s getaway it’s perfect.

This is my favorite AirBNB in NY. We booked Alana and Lauren's place for 9 nights for a much needed respite during the holiday season. The place was beautifully designed and decorated! It felt like an upscale cabin with the most thoughtful details. Loved that it was sprinkled with all sorts of books! The small kitchen surprised me with all the culinary tools it was stocked with. The property and outdoor amenities were so amazing, even in the winter. The driveway is right off a road, but still felt secluded and peaceful. The river in the back provided a relaxing ambience, drinking morning coffees. I really appreciated Alana's quick responses to all of my questions and concerns before and during the trip. It was perfect for the two of us, but could see it being a tight fit for four or more adults. I suspect in warmer months the outdoor space would make it more comfortable with more room to spread out. Highly recommend!!!!

Just as described. We arrived at night so the drive was a bit hard to see but its right where google maps shows it. Bad cell reception but fast wifi. The design of the space has all of the cabin charm without feeling old or musty. Great fireplace with lots of wood. The host got back to me quickly when i had questions prior to check in. There were great instructions at the house so i didnt have any questions throughout the stay. The kitchen is simply but sufficiently appointed so if you need something specific, bring it. Great bathroom with good products. The sauna puts this place over the top. Beautiful weekend get away only wish we could have stayed longer.

It is delightfully outfitted with everything you might need and at high quality, including the cookware, bathroom products, and furnishings. It's adorably decorated, with a comfy/clean aesthetic, and everything provided really fits the space well. They even had humidifiers in the rooms, which was a nice touch considering I could feel the moisture seeping out of my skin. 🙂 The outside is amazing, with the soothing river flowing right next to the cabin. WiFi was fast with no issues.
It also feels super private, even though there is a neighbor close by. You really just feel like you're in a secluded spot in the woods, which I loved.
We had no issues finding or getting to the cabin, even though it was icy when we visited.

This is our second time back at the cabin. It is the perfect romantic getaway from the chaos of new york city. You can fall asleep to the sound of the river stream. Alana and Steven are passionate and wonderful hosts. We feel lucky they opened up their personal architectural project to all of us. My partner who studied architecture approves! Even the basement is beautifully built. We recommend using their sauna in the wintertime. It’s smells SO good and it’s nice and toasty in there. Thanks again and look forward to returning for the summertime (:

Lived up to the hype - such a great experience from start to finish. The house has so many special touches and great design, high end finishes and products to use (in contrast to what you usually find in an Airbnb) and just all around extremely cozy and comfortable. I love how isolated it feels even though you're only a few min outside of town and the sound of the river was the only thing we could hear. We're already planning a return trip in summer!

Every detail was thoughtfully arranged, the space was curated-but-comfortable, the local recommendations all spot-on, even the instructional/warning cards were tastefully decorative. Every night we had a crackling fire, and didn’t touch the tv - we were too busy playing board games, cooking a gourmet feast, and drinking craft beer procured in Narrowsburg. It’s really a magical cabin - one of those places you’re almost afraid to share because you want to keep it a secret. But you deserve to experience everything these wonderful hosts have to offer!

I had an amazing weekend at Little River. This is one of the most stunning Airbnb's we have stayed in. The house was beautiful and super comfortable. The location by the river was awesome. We even woke up to a dusting of snow. The fireplace was the highlight for us, for sure. The house is extremely clean and very organized. There are notes throughout the home to serve as reminders on how something works, which was a nice touch. Even though you're in the woods, there is so much natural sunlight and the hosts did such an incredible job modernizing this cabin. Definitely a meme worthy place that we thoroughly enjoyed and would love to come back to for a peaceful weekend.

Beautiful romantic location, everything was covered in picturesque fresh snow when we arrived. Good birdwatching on property if thats your jam. I was worried the cabin might be chilly or drafty as it was well below freezing but we were toasty and warm. Sauna worked in 15° weather. Price was a splurge for me but everyone was happy and comfortable and for a winter visit where you want to spend your time inside it was worth being in a really gorgeous place. It's not in the photographs since it's not 'pretty' but i appreciated that there's an extra sink and fridge in the basement and a lot of storage down there, which is great since it allows the main living area to stay tidy during a weekend when you're cooking and staying in a lot.

My husband and I spent two days at Little River and it wasn't enough! The cabin and river are even more beautiful in person. Lauren was amazing to deal with and gave us a great recommendation to Cross Country Ski at Hickok Park 5 minutes from the house and it was gorgeous. The special touches and notes on amenities made the stay perfect. Even though the temps were in the low teens the fire pits made it easy to hang outside and enjoy the babbling brook and beautiful pines. Everyone staying here will want to purchase a cabin in the woods! I know we do. Can't wait to return!

The space is beautiful as well as very well thought out. I really appreciate all the small touches that were put in the Airbnb I would literally move here if that was possible. The kitchen is a dream as well as waking up to the sounds of a stream was amazing. I got the best nights sleep I’ve ever gotten and the bathtub is HUGE.

Before we arrived we were sent a very helpful guidebook that helped us plan our weekend. The house is GORGEOUS and has views of the river throughout. The river was much bigger than we expected and allowed us to spend time outside on a really hot & humid day. They provided us with Parachute robes for all of us which was a great touch. In all this house had everything we could ask for.
The town has a great Farmers Market on Saturdays that you can get everything you'd need and more, including King Trumpet mushrooms, homemade ciabatta bread and fresh scallops. The fully stocked kitchen and grill outside helped us make an amazing dinner. We also loved the folks at the Sticket Inn's restaurant & bar, super friendly & welcoming. We had an amazing time and I will definitely be keeping this house pinned for future visits!

The cabin is a well designed balance of modern and cozy. The bedrooms were clean and comfortable, the kitchen was basic but well kept, and the fire pit was perfect for roasting s’mores. There was plenty to do nearby between hikes, farmers markets, and local restaurants too.
The driveway was a little hard to spot at night off the main road, but once you find it you won’t be disappointed!

Lauren's place was just perfect for a quick getaway to the peace and quiet of the woods. We had everything we needed and the whole family enjoyed board games, horseback trail riding nearby, creek exploring, firepits, and all meals outside listening to the creek. Peck's grocery 5 minutes away was a really nice grocery store. As we were pulling out of the driveway the kids asked if we could kayak next time we come :). Lauren was so responsive and easy to communicate that we felt like we were staying at a friends place. Thanks!!!

The location was absolutely breathtaking, easy access to everything, food, attraction, lakes, fishing, and wonderful for those who enjoy antique shopping. The cabin house itself is even better & larger in person. Alana the host was there ready to communicate if we needed or had any questions. The morning 's were picture perfect with the sun hitting the creek next the house, and the sound of the water streaming down is serene. Super smooth sailing experience honestly. Every detail from the sheets, towels, pillows, lighting and overall design of the home is very carefully crafted to serve your stay. I highly highly recommend this Little River Cabin, if I could give it 10 stars I would, please don't think twice or look elsewhere, this is IT! It's the best place away from home. My family and I, we'll be back soon.

We love the guide leaflet, the book selections and the welcoming gift. We had enormous fun eating outside at the table, 3 meals a day. There happened to be a heat wave throughout the weekend, so we had a chance to dip in the Little River as well, exhilarating. One of the most enjoyable getaways we have ever had. Highly recommend. We didn’t even want to leave the house to see the town nearby. We just wanted to feel and live the every second of the house. Everything thought . The cabin was perfectly designed for comfort and luxury. It was one of the few Airbnbs I’ve stayed in that I truly felt at home. And the location was unlike no other. We had the most relaxing weekend getaway at Little River. The house was spotless and well-appointed and the hosts were responsive, friendly, and easy to communicate with. We really appreciated the Casper king bed, quality appliances, and Paracute linens! You can tell the remodel was a labor love and it shows in everything from the floors to the finishes. Complimentary hard cider and beer were a nice surprise and there's nothing better than a cozy fire in the fireplace and a soak in the tub on a cold winter's day. This was one of the most peaceful and relaxing Airbnb experiences we've had! A note that the hosts are very clear that you should be careful turning into and out of their driveway because of a sharp turn in the road known to cause car accidents - please heed this warning, as we ended up being the first responders to a car accident on the morning we were leaving.

Every morning we played chess and drank coffee in the super comfortable family room area upstairs. You feel like you are in a treehouse up there! There is so much light and they did such an incredible job modernizing a log cabin. The house is just like the photographs. The sauna is a great addition and we watched a bald eagle swoop down over the river while we were relaxing there one morning. On top of how great the house is the hosts had a fantastic manual with great recommendations. We would book again and we highly recommend!

Little river cabin is such a beautiful place to stay inside and out. Beautiful location with woods and the subtle sound of the little river as the backdrop as well as a truly well curated space inside. The natural light in the cabin during the day and the coziness in the evening wih a fire going were perfect. The little details of a welcome bottle of cider and fresh coffee beans to use in the morning really set the tone. Alana, the local host, was quick to respond to any questions and the local suggestions from Lauren were really great. Can’t wait to go back!

There was plenty of space for our group of 4 to enjoy as well as views of the river from almost every window. You can hear the rushing water from inside if you just crack a window and it makes for a wonderful morning coffee by the fire.

Close enough to local markets for your needs but far enough away to make you feel like you're getting away from it all. Highly recommend staying with friends in the summer to make use of the outdoor shower and grill!

The weekend that we were supposed to go to the cabin, there was a snowstorm and the location lost power. The Airbnb team was extremely communicative with us and allowed us to stay at a property that had power and switched to our original reservation after their power came back on. We could not be more grateful to them for being so accommodating. This Airbnb was gorgeous, romantic, and a unique getaway. They had more amenities than even listed. We will definitely be returning!

This cabin is beautifully decorated and extremely comfortable to stay. Even though it has only one bathroom, there’s plenty room in the house for a group of 4 people to hang out and relax. The indoor & outdoor fireplaces are our favorite. Even before we left, we were already talking about coming back again. It is a bit hard to find from the highway but Lauren’s team provide very helpful guidance so you won’t miss it!

We loved this cabin so, so much. Our stay was beyond relaxing. Like other reviews say, the house is off of a country highway but it was still so quiet and felt very private. The house was gorgeous and you can tell that the owners really care about this place, and the land it’s located on felt like being at summer camp in the best way. We made good use of the sauna and the fire pit on the chilly nights we spent there. The beds and linens were very comfy, the amenities were all there, and we were just generally pleasantly surprised with the quality of everything.
The town it’s in is teeny tiny, but had all of the essentials even though it was definitely quieter and with semi limited options due to November being an off season-ish time to be in the Catskills. There are other small towns to drive to within 20 min to explore, eat, grab coffee, etc. All in all, one of the better airbnbs we’ve ever rented.

There were cute little notes left around the house with lots of tips on how to maneuver certain amenities. The house felt like a home away from home, cozy, lots of blankets for the colder season, lots of photo-ops, and well thought out for the guests. Robes were provided which was nice. Only negative would be that the home had no blinds which we mostly didn’t like at night, but nonetheless amazing home. Would probably stay again during the warmer season for a lot of outdoor activities in the area.

The house is beautifully decorated and the yard is everything you could wish for- the outdoor dining table and firepit were a huge hit with our group. WOW what a beautiful and luxurious cabin! The other reviewers are not kidding when they say that the river running next to the cottage is so soothing and really makes the whole site come alive. We were lucky to stay here during the most amazing fall weekend, but I would imagine that any weekend here would be perfect. The hosts have truly paid attention to every single little detail both big and small. From luxurious bedding, to high end appliances, to the most incredible out door shower. I could go on and on about the aesthetics of this beautiful cabin. Yet everything was so cozy, comfortable and practical at the same time. The property is laid out beautifully with several different nooks to enjoy and is exactly as described in the photos. The cabin is basically right off a main road but is set back and shaded with many trees so you get a feeling of complete privacy - but you can hear a car or two go by every now and then when you are sitting outside so you don't feel isolated in a creepy way. There are beautiful hiking trails just 15 minutes away from the cabin and lots of whitewater rafting options near by. We really enjoyed all of the recommendations, especially the farmer's market and forage pizza. While there isn't a lot to do externally, the house is so well equipped for a fun and relaxing time to cook, play games, read a book and relax. This place is the ultimate getaway and I would not hesitate to book!

I wanted a gateway weekend with my girlfriend when I saw Little River on Airbnb. I knew this is our spot. We spent two nights there and could not have wished for a more perfect time. The cabin was dream-like and we felt at home from the first sight. Thank you, Lauren, Alana, and Steven, for creating such a beautiful haven - and giving us a special place to make memories.

We had a fantastic time staying that the cottage in Eldred, NY. Everything was professionally executed and as advertised. Beautiful A-frame cabin with indoor and outdoor fireplaces and a nice sauna. We were a party of 2 couples and were very comfortable during our stay. The property has a cool stream and nice backyard with tons of nature (saw a lot of deer and rabbits).
Overall I would recommend. However, it is on the expensive side for a 1 bathroom, right under $1,800 for a Friday and Saturday in October. It is also by a fairly busy road so there’s a little road noise during the middle of the day.

This truly is a special property on so many levels! It is sited on a bend in the creek, which provides amazing, private views from wherever you are. The level of the furnishings is just ..... beyond! If you are a design buff, this is like walking into a showroom full of eye candy. And if you are not, you'll simply find a myriad of comfortable places to perch and enjoy the views and the sounds, both inside and out. We were visited by 2 deer one afternoon, and a bald eagle flew low over the creek one morning, then perched on a tree within sight of the cabin.
I can't say enough about this beautiful place. I never wanted to leave but if you do.... there are peaceful, isolated places to hike nearby, as well as a decent grocery and liquor store. Do not hesitate to book it!

We were so impressed with the amount of work Lauren & Steve put into the space (check out their instagram for the before/afters!), every detail is perfect. Arriving to a sweet welcome note and cider from Alana was an unexpected plus 🙂 and falling asleep to the sound of the creek was a perfect ending to every evening. Would definitely recommend!!

My girlfriend and I spent our anniversary weekend here and this house and property made it so special. We enjoyed the fire pit outside, looking through the curated book collection in front of the cozy fireplace, relaxing in the deep soaking tub, cooking all of our meals in the fully equipped kitchen (All-Clad pots and pans collection!), watching movies with snuggly blankets on the floating upper level, listening to the babble of the creek from the open windows, winking back at the bistro lights out in the yard, and taking in the gorgeous, artisanal details in every aspect of the decor and architecture. We had intended to spend more of our trip on outings, but the house had us in a warm hug the whole weekend, so why would we have left? Thank you Little River for being all we needed to make our weekend magical!

Steven and Lauren's place is stunning. The setting is spectacular under the pine trees and right beside the river, and the interior is warm and inviting, bright and modern. Everything feels well thought out and unique from the design choices to the layout and amenities. This was an ideal place for four of us and room for more in the foldout bed upstairs. My particular favorite is the upstairs walkway that bridges one side of the house to the gorgeous A-Frame bedroom. Truly a special place - I would highly recommend!!!

It's in a beautiful spot and it was great to spend time outside by the fire, to wander the stream, to cook and eat under the stars. The location is also convenient, just about 20 min from a town with a few good restaurants and stores.
