The beds were very comfortable and the open living space and kitchen was perfect. It was so peaceful and the home just had a good energy. Highly recommend it for a couple or small group.

We stayed here for a long weekend getaway from the city and it was as amazing as it looks. The home felt really spacious and warm. The beds were very comfortable and the open living space and kitchen was perfect. It was so peaceful and the home just had a good energy. Highly recommend it for a couple or small group.

Should the property require cleaning beyond the standard turnover—due to excessive mess or incidents involving bodily fluids such as blood, vomit, or waste—a $500 fee may apply. Any linens or furnishings damaged beyond repair will also be subject to replacement charges. These situations are considered outside the scope of routine housekeeping and require specialized attention to ensure the safety and well-being of our team.
ACCURATE GUEST COUNT
The number of guests must be accurately disclosed at the time of booking. While we don’t charge extra for additional guests up to the home’s maximum occupancy, this information is essential so we can properly prepare and stock the home. Please note that penalties may apply if guest counts are inaccurate or intentionally misrepresented.
OUTSIDE SERVICE PROVIDERS
Outside staff such as private chefs, massage therapists, or other service providers are welcome, but prior approval is required before they come on-site.

We were especially, pleasantly, surprised to find so many kid friendly items like toys, games, a high chair, etc! This is the perfect house for any family looking for a unique stay in the area.

This cottage is honestly beautiful! The pictures match exactly. The
This cottage is honestly beautiful! The pictures match exactly. The bed was one of the softest beds I’ve ever slept on. The owner was very responsive and flexible. The kitchen stove was a bit tricky to work but the owner was helpful in explaining what to do. My only negative was the t.v remote buttons didn’t work so we couldn’t watch t.v for a whole day. The owner tried their best to give troubleshooting tips via text but we ultimately needed more help. The next day two individuals came to help us reset everything and the remote was back to working again. It showed how much the owners cared about us having a proper experience. Overall, I’d love to come back to this cottage!

The space was as described. Well appointed, centrally located and stocked with all the necessary amenities. Very clean and convenient to both Hunter and Windham mountains. Additionally the host was very communicative.

All of my friends who came along absolutely loved this
All of my friends who came along absolutely loved this house. It was incredibly clean and felt brand new. Even walking around barefoot, our feet didn’t get dirty at all – it was amazing. The bathroom was spotless and designed in a beautiful Nordic style that I adore. The host was very considerate, providing rain boots, umbrellas, and even a bunch of toys for the kids. The children in our group were thrilled. The mattresses were very comfortable, and each area in the house had a wall-mounted air conditioner, keeping it cool even on hot days. Overall, we absolutely loved this house. If we have the chance, we will definitely stay here again!

Red Cottage was a beautiful and modern retreat in the
Red Cottage was a beautiful and modern retreat in the beautiful Catskills. We appreciated the interior design and architecture of the home. The condensation from the AC unit upstairs left a large amount of water on the floor, so we couldn’t use it. They offered to have someone come look at it the same day, but as we were leaving the next morning, we felt it better handled when we were gone. Fortunately the ceiling fan was very cooling and I think the A frame design of the home with concrete floors helped to keep the place fairly cool throughout. Also, please be extremely cautious when pulling out of the driveway as cars fly by and it is impossible to see them until you pull your car out into the road. I think a mirror could remedy that situation. With those minor adjustments, Red Cottage is a gem!

Super easy and accommodating with a last minute booking - the accommodations were nearly new and aligned with the pictures. To note: the upstairs/master bedroom is open to the downstairs as it’s a loft configuration, so if you are renting it as a group recommend to be mindful of that from a privacy perspective. I would certainly recommend this listing for anyone looking for a clean, modern farmhouse getaway from NYC.

Wow. This architectural gem is a real find. With soaring ceilings, a perfect kitchen, and great outdoor space. Set on two wooded acres with a melt water stream steps away it was the perfect escape for my family. My child loved hiking through the nearby woods which were very calming, yet it was also a perfect drive to some really great skiing and excitement at Hunter and the Windham Mountain Club. This is a fantastic getaway for any family. We will be coming back every year we can!

A great, easy getaway from NYC for us! We thoroughly enjoyed the secluded, quiet space (2 acres of wooded privacy), the modern yet comfortable accommodations (many conveniences). Keen to explore the surroundings and Hudson Valley area, the nearby town is quickly accessible for some exploring.
The host was excellent with communication and very responsive thoroughly our stay. You can’t go wrong with this place!

A total gem in the Catskills! We'd never been out
A total gem in the Catskills! We'd never been out this way before and we're really grateful to have found this place. This cabin is straight out of a magazine -- modern, cozy, and felt like new. We relaxed in the living room and enjoyed the deck. Nearby trails were incredible. I did have to work while we were there - the wifi is fast and it's a great environment to clear the mind and get creative. And it's just a hop, skip, and a jump from NYC. Can't wait to go back and do it all over again. Excellent hosting with quick and clear communication. They don't make you go through a ton of hoops, like some rentals. Looked just like the photos.

Our stay was absolutely fabulous. The location was easy to find, and the A frame itself was th best. It’s nestled within surrounding trees, and the inside feels just like home! There was plenty of space, we painted, danced around and had a great time. We drove to Kaaterskill Falls for a hike, Hudson for a walk and food, as well as Woodstock for a walk and food. All within 30 mins drive. The host was very responsive and set out clear instructions. Thanks for a memorable weekend. Highly recommend staying here!

The A-Frame house was a lovely weekend getaway for our family. We have always enjoyed visiting the Catskills, and it was a quick drive to Kaaterskill Falls, Woodstock and Hudson. We have small children and so the polished cement floors, while stylish, were not the most kid-friendly. So that is something to keep in mind (along with no bathtub) when booking here. But overall, the location was great, and Red Cottage management service was very responsive regarding some of our questions about using the appliances, turning on the heat, etc. I would certainly recommend this home to other guests.

I really enjoyed this space. Being from the city, the
I really enjoyed this space. Being from the city, the peace, quiet and serene nature was just what I needed. The big 75 inch TV in the living room is great for movie nights, the edifier speakers with a vinyl player is a nice nostalgic touch and the home is absolutely stunning. Add the many deer that I saw and you fall in love with this home. Looking forward to coming back!
