Our cabin was immaculate and so cozy. We were a short drive to Portsmouth, York, Ogunquit, and Kennebunkport. There were so many places to hike and walk our dogs! We would love to go back again!

No smoking is permitted inside the house. If you must smoke, please do so outside and dispose of butts properly. Any violation of this policy is subject to a $500 fee.
EXCESSIVE CLEANING FEES
We kindly ask that guests treat the home with care and respect. Should the property require cleaning beyond the standard turnover—due to excessive mess or incidents involving bodily fluids such as blood, vomit, or waste—a $500 fee may apply. Any linens or furnishings damaged beyond repair will also be subject to replacement charges. These situations are considered outside the scope of routine housekeeping and require specialized attention to ensure the safety and well-being of our team.
ACCURATE GUEST COUNT
The number of guests must be accurately disclosed at the time of booking. While we don’t charge extra for additional guests up to the home’s maximum occupancy, this information is essential so we can properly prepare and stock the home. Please note that penalties may apply if guest counts are inaccurate or intentionally misrepresented.
OUTSIDE SERVICE PROVIDERS
Outside staff such as private chefs, massage therapists, or other service providers are welcome, but prior approval is required before they come on-site.

Lovely cozy place, away from the beaten path in a walkable neighborhood and the nearby neighbors are quiet friendly people. The cabin is clean and well equipped with thoughtful touches. Everything in coastal Maine is pricey in the summer, so while that reality isn’t easy this place is a good deal. There is room to spread out, and each room has its own heating/cooling unit so you can personalize. Beds are comfy, and there is a wood stove inside, nice fire pit outside, and a back porch with eating area. Highly recommend this simple and elegantly designed spot! The hosts communicate well and give good useful info. 😀

A few other reviews mentioned you are retry close to neighbors, which is true, but we spent most our time playing on the river, visiting light houses, in town and eating our first fresh lobster at Chauncey’s Creek.

We had a great weekend away here at one of Wildwood Collective properties. First off the host was great and accommodating to all of our needs. Quick responses and willing to help in any way they could. The place had a great open floor plan. They had a fire pit and a beautful wood buring stove inside. We unfortunately didn't use either but in the fall or early winter these would be ideal. Location is nice not to far from Portsmouth,NH or Kittery,ME. There is a house directly behind the location but it was very quiet and never saw the neighbors. Would recommend the location to friends and family.

The dock right down the street is beautiful and very peaceful. Fire pit was a wonderful place to sit and enjoy good company. Cabin was well stocked for cooking- i would recommend bringing spices/ tinfoil (just incase) if you plan to cook. We had two couples and we were very comfortable at the cabin! As mentioned in the description, there are neighbors close, but they are very nice. We felt safe & the neighbors are all very quiet. We very much enjoyed our time!!

We really enjoyed our stay here as our trip was focused on visiting Portsmouth, NH this location was the perfect distance (15-20 min drive). The cabin was clean and decorated very nicely. Heaters in every room, good water pressure and a security system made us feel comfortable throughout our stay. Nothing was missing although a microwave and dishwasher would have been a plus! Tons of restaurant options within 10-20 min of the cabin in neighboring towns. Would love to come back!

Watching the sunset off the river from the deck was magical, and we had everything we needed for a night in, while also being located right outside of multiple great locations, including Portsmouth, York, Kennebunkport, and Ogunquit. If you are looking for a spacious, comfortable, clean, and quiet stay, the cabin is highly recommended.

The neighbors surrounding the property were all friendly. The partial views of the lake and the full views of the night sky were perfectly Maine. This was a great way to show our 18 year old Daughter where she was born - and moved away from - at age 2.

Three night stay and we enjoyed ourselves very much. Clear communication from Host from the start. The neighborhood was much denser than we were expecting, but still very quiet which made you feel secluded after sunset. Wood stove was the best feature and worked extremely efficiently. Very grateful for all the wood which was provided by the host and made a huge difference in terms of convenience. Proximity to York, Kittery, Portsmouth, and more was excellent. Being a dog friendly place, we were really pleased with how clean it was, free of any hair or dander from previous guests. Would definitely consider staying here again, maybe during the summer so we could enjoy the water frontage. Thanks!

We enjoyed walking down to the dock and watching the sunset on the river. We spent our evenings by the firepit watching fireflies appear. A perfect escape for the summer!

Our stay in the cabin was so cozy and lovely. While my plans for the weekend was to visit Portsmouth, Portland and other surrounding towns, I found myself wanting to stay inside the cozy cabin many of the days. The bed is comfy so had wonderful sleep each night.
As others mentioned, this is not a secluded cabin so I had no expectation of that. It’s just like a typical neighborhood with other houses around. Neighbors are friendly and can often be seen in the neighborhood going for a stroll or walking their dogs.
I didn’t have much communication with the hosts simply because they clearly outlined all the instructions which they shared well in advanced so it provided a seamless check in and out. When I did reach out about a question, they were very prompt in their response.
No complaints about this place and I highly recommend it!

The owner was able to accommodate an early check in and then also allowed us to extend our stay an extra day, both of which were much appreciated.
There were a few minor inconveniences as to be expected with any property- we could not find any hand towels for the bathroom, so we had to use a wash cloth as a hand towel. The mini-split heating/a/c was a bit finicky. It would work for a little while then stop and we’d have to cycle through the settings to get it to kick back on.

Adorable mid century modern cabin perfect for a family of 4. Very clean and comfortable space with all the details to make for an easy breezy stay. Our children (5 & 3) loved the firepit, tetherball and taking nature walks down to the water. A great place to come to unwind and unplug for some quality family time. We will definitely be back!

Spruce Cove Cabin served our purpose for Thanksgiving weekend perfectly.
Spruce Cove Cabin served our purpose for Thanksgiving weekend perfectly. We have family in Portsmouth, NH and the proximity was perfect. We also found outdoor things to do in Ogunquit and Rochester with handy spots for lunch within a 30 minute drive. The house was clean and comfortable. It is in a neighborhood with houses pretty close which limits the privacy, especially in warmer months. I was happy to have read the previous reviews and brought cooking utensils and some one-use aluminum pans, but we were doing a big dinner. Pots and pans were adequate, but knives and utensils were on the light side. I would recommend a floor lamp or an end table with a reading lamp to the owners to add some ambience and a reading spot. That would have been appreciated in the colder days we had while there and would go perfectly with the wood stove!! Linens and bedding were fine. All and all we appreciated the general location and the oven worked for our turkey dinner!!

Our cabin was immaculate and so cozy. We were a short drive to Portsmouth, York, Ogunquit, and Kennebunkport. There were so many places to hike and walk our dogs! We would love to go back again!

I was looking for a place to stay with my boyfriend for a little gateway. I live in Massachusetts and he's from New Hampshire. The cabin was a perfect fit for the two of us. I had planned to bring my dog, and our hosts were very prompt to accommodate.
We had all the information provided on a timely manner for our check-in prior to our arrival, I personally truly appreciate a self check-in as I'm more of an introvert and like to keep to myself.
At the cabin we had all we needed for a comfortable stay and our host also had a binder available with great suggestions of places to go and things to do; as well as detailed information we needed to know for our stay and check out.
I would definitely come back for a longer stay to make the most of the outdoor area around the cabin. And we truly enjoyed the comfort of this little gem in Elliot!

Great view of the Piscataqua River from the back deck and the dock, which is a short 3 minute walk, is lovely. As described, the cabin is not secluded; the backyard neighbors are quite close and curious but very friendly. We enjoyed grilling on the back deck and cooking in the kitchen. The location is perfect for visiting your kid at UNH and for heading into Portsmouth. Highly recommend staying at this cabin!

Great stay in a clean and quiet home in a beautiful neighborhood. spacious for 4 people, comfy beds. Would most definitely return!
Great retreat in Maine not too far from Berwick, York,
Great retreat in Maine not too far from Berwick, York, Kittery, or Portsmouth. The firepit/place really gave us the cozy Maine getaway we were looking for and the river down the road was a great place to walk our dog to daily. Wildwood kept their place in great shape and it was very clean. We look forward to coming back!

We loved our stay here! Great location near Kittery and Portsmouth, and the house was really nice. A great spot for pets as well - they had dog bowls in the house which was great as we often forget those while traveling and some good hiking spots nearby too! Would definitely recommend.

My mom and I stayed for a 4 day/3 night
My mom and I stayed for a 4 day/3 night trip here and had a lovely time. It is a nice, quiet, relaxing location. The house was clean and cozy and perfect for what we had in mind for the weekend. I loved the open layout that allowed for someone to be in the kitchen and yet still interact with anyone hanging out on the couch.
Unfortunately, I didn't see the firestarters the first night, which is when we planned to do a fire, but they do have them (by the tv/fireplace *facepalm*), but the fire pit is nice and would've been great.
Location is nice; about a 30-minute drive to Ogunquit, under 20 to Kittery. We went for a nice light nature hike at Negutaquet Conservation Area, which was about 15 minutes away.
We did have the power go out our last night there with a storm, but the hosts were responsive and called the town and found out it was a widespread issue. We were fine with the candle and flashlights provided, though!

We loved our stay at Spruce Cove Cabin. It was exactly as advertised and even better! We liked that the cabin was very clean, as well as the extras made by the owners (map with the attractions in the area, snacks and goodies, towels on the beds for each person, as well as beach towels, bowls for dogs, firewood available free of charge...). The neighborhood is lovely and perfect for a morning jogging before hitting the beach. We definitely recommend a stay in this cabin!
