We were lucky to find this place for four generations
We were lucky to find this place for four generations of my family to view the total solar eclipse. It turned out to be the perfect location, with a large deck in the right place and no trees blocking the view. The house is spacious, very clean, and well-appointed. We did all of our own cooking and had pretty much everything we needed. The house easily accommodates 8 people (although, as one reviewer noted previously, one of the downstairs bedrooms is accessible only by walking through the other). We didn't use the washer and dryer, but that's often a great thing to have available. We had been warned that the access road was muddy, but it wasn't the least bit of a problem in a normal car. It's a peaceful and private location, and we can imagine it would be great for skiers.

House comes equipped with portable fans and features a large downstairs area that will keep you nice and cool during the day and the night. Gas grill on premise barbecues nicely. All and all a comfortable place to stay with easy access to the many attractions of Stowe.

A great place to stay that is close to so many things to do in Waterbury and Stowe. Great food, swimming in the river, and visiting the local breweries are all within a few miles. Definitely going to return for some skiing this winter!

It's cozy, the bathrooms and kitchen storage are cozy but well equipped. They plowed often - even with heavy snow. Just note garage isn't available for car use.

We love to ski and Stowe has been on our list of places to visit. We were not disappointed. The drive to the mountain from the house was easy and it is also a quick drive ti a number of other local hot spots!
The house is very cozy and lots of space for relaxing. We enjoyed the privacy and the fire stove after a day on the slopes.

Amazing location in proximity to Stowe. 20 min drive even during the busy Christmas/New Years period. Only downside is the road leading to the home is muddy, and will require a 4 wheel drive car and careful attention to the road, other than that, this place is absolutely perfect for a family visiting Stowe. Home itself is perfect, well appointed and great for relaxing after a day of skiing. Would highly recommend to anyone.

This location was perfect for a group skiing at Stowe. The entry mudroom had even more space than we needed for 6 skiers and all of their equipment. Parking was plentiful and well shoveled. Easy enough to get to that we learned the route from the airbnb to town quickly. Would definitely return if we skiied here again.

We had a wonderful time at this home in Stowe! There were 8 of us and we felt right at home. Plenty of space for everyone. It is about 20 minutes from Stowe's resort, but worth the drive as we felt we had a ton of privacy and the surroundings were so peaceful. A private hot tub is a huge plus for the winter as well, so happy to have been able to stay here!

We were a group with two families and the cottage was well set up with bedrooms and a shared bathroom for the parents upstairs, and a common area/bedroom and bedroom with a shared bathroom downstairs. There was plenty of common space with lots to games, and we all loved the hot tub. A really lovely way to spend a long winter weekend.

The pictures did not do this place justice; it is very nice and modern inside and has a great upscale ski chalet vibe. Erica was responsive to questions via text message in advance and the check-in/check-out instructions were prompt and thorough. We had absolutely no issues during our stay and left with great memories. I would definitely recommend this Airbnb to others! Thanks again for a wonderful stay!

Very clean house and that's the most important for us! We stayed in the summer for a lacrosse tournament so it was very hot during the day without AC but it cooled down at night so we opened the windows and it cooled off.

Nice deck for outdoor dining and star gazing. We are a family of four but you could comfortably fit two families of four. Erica was a great host, very helpful and responsive. If you are traveling as a family, take note that 2 of the “bedrooms” are in the basement and you have to walk through the room w bunks to get into the room w the 2 single beds. Plenty of towels, the beds and bedding were very comfortable. The only thing we would have liked was a full length mirror in the bedrooms.

Very clean and nice house located in a private setting yet close to everything. We spent the week skiing at Stowe and the house was perfect for our needs. One thing to keep in mind is that one of the bedrooms in the basement is only accessible via the other basement bedroom. It wasn’t a big deal for us but something to consider if you are expecting 4 private bedrooms.

My two sisters and our familes stayed at the house over Memorial Day weekend and the children loved playing in the huge back yard. It was entirely fenced in which was very helpful being that we had several little ones with us. It's the perfect distance between Stowe and Waterbury and we all enjoyed exploring the area. Highly recommended!

This house was great and the host company made us feel really special with a welcome box full of all things VT. It’s a great location between Waterbury and Stowe. It feels like you are in the woods and nature, but restaurants and stores are very close by. I will say, I wouldn’t stay here with very young children. The pictures don’t show the distance between the rooms downstairs and upstairs well enough. We had a 3, 4, 6, year old and an infant. The plan was to have them in the areas with the twins. The two older girls stayed down there, but my husband had to sleep down there to make them feel comfortable and the 3 year old was too scared and ended up in her parents bedroom upstairs. Also, if you go with a baby, pick the room without the black bed. The bed was so creeky every time I moved the baby woke up! The house is beautiful and so is the land. My only complaint is I wish they had a fire pit or let you bring your own solo stove. There is something very vt vaca about a fire.
