I traveled from Texas to visit Acadia National Park. This is a lovely property nestled on a nice piece of land. The cabin is centrally located, and there are many things to do within an hour's drive. The host is very responsive. I would stay here again and will recommend it to friends.

This place will always have a special place in my heart. The scenery and atmosphere felt incredibly peaceful. The inside didn’t feel like an Airbnb at all, but like a second home. They left us a little welcome snack tray which was so cute and appreciated.

Absolutely loved our stay at the Salt House. Super cozy and comfortable inside and the decor is dialed down to the little unique details, like the antique dresser bathroom vanity. Location is a bit out of the way but very quiet and peaceful. The hosts are super nice as well and their local recommendations are spot on! 10/10 would recommend staying here.

We had a great stay at this place. The surroundings are beautiful and it’s a relatively easy drive to Acadia but there are other towns nearby worth checking out too. The only thing I wish was clearer in the description is that there’s no shower and the tub is in a corner with a slanted ceiling so you cannot stand in it either, which is not always ideal. Other than that the place and location were great.

It was so nice to stay in a place that felt like it was cut from a magazine. The home is in a private space but not far from restaurants and other towns with cute shops. We were close to lots of hiking trails and coastlines. I am quite sure I’ll be back!

This is a really beautiful space in an even more beautiful stretch of woods and coast that gave us truly the best of Maine! Hosts were very quick and helpful with various requests and questions (even when we got locked out), and the space was a lovely honeymoon spot for my husband and I.

Beautiful space!! A little out of the way if your only attraction is Acadia (little over an hour drive), but if you are looking to explore some of the other cute little towns this is a great spot. We loved Belfast. Everything was very clean and it is located in a quiet spot. We had neighbors during our stay but never heard/saw them so it was like we were the only ones there. The only thing to note is as pictured, there is only a bath tub and it is located under a slanted ceiling. That being said, while I loved soaking in the tub, if you are over 5’10” or do not have the ability to sit criss cross in the tub it is very difficult to shower.

Only complaint is the tub/ shower situation. Very low ceiling over it so you can’t stand to shower. Overall, not the biggest deal though. Our pup loved it here too!! Close to Belfast which is so nice to walk around and get a bite to eat. Easy drive to Acadia as well. Would highly recommend this place!

Hosts were very responsive and communicative. The area is secluded and very quiet, which was exactly what we wanted. A lot of beautiful hiking trails and beaches nearby as well. I had a wonderful solo stay in the Salt House and loved it! The house was beautiful and peaceful. The soaking tub was perfect and the bed was comfortable. The house was a little chilly, so pack warm layers in the colder months. I would definitely recommend this Airbnb!

It was our first time staying at one of Wildwood Collective’s places and it did not disappoint. Such a great location and comfortable. It felt much like home and was great to return back to after long days of exploring. The bed was so comfortable which is one of the things I look for first. Definitely note that the Salt House has a soaking tub with a shower head attached not a full standing shower. The tub is great for soaking! We will definitely be staying here again.

The Salt house is the perfect place to stay if you are looking for a home away from home. Personally I would love to live here all the time! Tastefully decorated from the furniture to the appliances and table ware. Keep in mind that it is a bit remote (which is part of it's charm) . I stayed during the off season and it was hard to find places to eat especially during the week. Location is great if you are interested in visiting some of the smaller towns along the ocean and Acadia in the same trip.

Each morning we spent sleeping in, reading, drinking coffee, making breakfast and relaxing before heading out to some of the nearby towns. This home was perfect for two and a great place to stay if need feel like you’ve gotten away for a moment.
We had a great time getting to travel around the area and explore, go to galleries and shop local businesses. One of our days we spent in Acadia which was only about an hour of a drive and so worth the while. But also there were also some equally as beautiful natural views so close to area where this home is located.
Instructions are very clear, getting checked in was easy, and our host was very helpful and very quick to respond to all of my questions and needs. I was very appreciative of them.

Our stay at the Salt House was wonderful. The location feels quite secluded and peaceful, so it was rather nice having neighbors at the other house on the property. We loved some of the high end features (luxury stove, soaking tub, etc.) balanced with the simplicity of the house (no dishwasher or standing shower). I highly suggest this home for a couple looking for a quiet getaway.

Really sweet little house on a quiet peninsula in Maine, we loved the proximity to the lighthouse and beach nearby which was a peaceful place for a morning walk. It's about an hour in to most parts of Acadia, but nice to be away from the crowds. The house is perfect for two people and we were very glad that they thoughtfully accommodated our dog as well with a cozy bed and nice dog bowls. We are some of the first guests to stay so we did have a few little kinks, but the host swiftly and thoughtfully worked to resolve the issue. We had a great stay.

Even better than the pictures! A beautiful, clean home that was perfect for our stay. The house is beautifully decorated with nice touches such as games and books, it was large and provided plenty of space for my husband and I plus our toddler and dog. Our dog was welcomed with a bed and bowls. Of note, there is no shower but there is a huge soaking tub complete with bath salts and a candle which was lovely after a day of hiking (and our toddler loved it). About an hour from Bar Harbor and Acadia. We had a small issue with the home’s alarm system and Chris and Lauren were responsive and helped fix the situation quickly. We would definitely stay again!
