The Stone House was a beautiful retreat for a work weekend up in Maine. We did not get to explore too much around the area but the state park nearby was beautiful. We loved the attention to detail with the quality of linens, the delicious coffee, high end appliances and minimal but warm and noteworthy decor. Very peaceful and enjoyable to be there!

This space is SO beautiful and I loved the property-it was very serene and peaceful with lots of critters! It was very quiet and relaxing. I loved the design and the mini split heating system was so warm! The space was easy to find , and we had a really nice time in Belfast and Searsport which is nearby. I absolutely recommend this space!

Well-behaved dogs are allowed with prior approval (and $75 fee per pet, per stay). Please clean up after your pet both inside and outside the house. Sorry, cats are not permitted.
Failure to disclose any pets in advance may result in additional fees or penalties.
SMOKING
No smoking is permitted inside the house. If you must smoke, please do so outside and dispose of butts properly. Any violation of this policy is subject to a $500 fee.
EXCESSIVE CLEANING FEES
We kindly ask that guests treat the home with care and respect. Should the property require cleaning beyond the standard turnover—due to excessive mess or incidents involving bodily fluids such as blood, vomit, or waste—a $500 fee may apply. Any linens or furnishings damaged beyond repair will also be subject to replacement charges. These situations are considered outside the scope of routine housekeeping and require specialized attention to ensure the safety and well-being of our team.
ACCURATE GUEST COUNT
The number of guests must be accurately disclosed at the time of booking. While we don’t charge extra for additional guests up to the home’s maximum occupancy, this information is essential so we can properly prepare and stock the home. Please note that penalties may apply if guest counts are inaccurate or intentionally misrepresented.
OUTSIDE SERVICE PROVIDERS
Outside staff such as private chefs, massage therapists, or other service providers are welcome, but prior approval is required before they come on-site.
SUPPLEMENTAL AGREEMENTS

Beautiful house that was perfect for our family of four.
Beautiful house that was perfect for our family of four. It was stocked with everything we needed for our week exploring Acadia and coastal Maine. The only drawback is the location as it’s 15 minutes to the closest restaurant or store but there are also neighbors so it’s not super private. Besides that it’s a great stay!
The house was very nice, looked like the pictures although
The house was very nice, looked like the pictures although a bit smaller but everything else was just as shown inside the house. Very nice, clean and de-cluttered place. Off season the exterior doesn't look like the pictures at all, but that's expected. The lock pad stopped working after the first night, maybe due to a loss of power because of a storm, so it would have been nice to have the key lockbox code ahead of time as it took a bit of time to reach the company host. That said, we really enjoyed ourselves and liked the house quite a bit. Thank you!

Great place. It's a private cottage on a really quiet street, perfect for dog walking and scooter-ing with our 5-year-old. Pretty close to all sorts of attractions as well. We spent time in Belfast, Camden, and Acadia National Park, and this was a great home base. Thanks again!

We stayed a few nights at the Stone House and found it very charming. The grounds are beautiful! The home itself was well decorated, light, and bright. The water source for the property is well water which tastes/smells differently than the city water I'm used to. We would definitely stay at this property again.

Host was very responsive and nice too. The location was out of nowhere, was a little scary at night but the house was equipped with top notch security system which helped us feel safe.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Wildwood Collective in Maine. The house was absolutely pristine and adorable. It was quiet and peaceful, exactly what we needed after a busy camping trip for five days before. We loved the beautiful surroundings and the fact it seemed off the beaten path but yet easily accessible to Bar Harbor and other beautiful spots in Maine. We would definitely come back and hope to bring our family and rent out both houses.

It’s about 1 hour from Bar Harbor and we needed to drive in order to find some decent restaurants (admittedly picky about that) but it was in a nice area. Quiet & peaceful. We would definitely stay in another one of Lauren’s properties!

We had a great three-night stay here. We spent one day at Bar Harbor, taking in the Bar Harbor Trail at low tide and of course Mount Desert Island ice cream. We spent another day exploring Deer Isle and Stonington. The Japandi style of the house was utterly relaxing. Everything was clean as a whistle, and the kitchen was extremely well stocked. We prepared three meals there. We would definitely stay here again.

Being 55 mins from Acadia and close to Camden and
Being 55 mins from Acadia and close to Camden and Bar Harbor made for great day trips with a cozy place to return to at night. Would recommend and stay again! Well stocked with essentials for cooking since it was a little far from restaurants, though surrounding areas and drive was beautiful, quiet, and peaceful. On the smaller size for 4 people but the split up bathroom was a huge plus. Great vibes in the house including access to the Sonos speaker. We had a small issue with the hot water heater but Wildwood Collective was responsive and sent out a maintenance tech on the 4th of july to fix it!! Incredible service on a holiday weekend.

One major key point I want to point out - where Wildwood Collective went above and beyond- when we checked in we noticed that we had no coffee beans as described in the listing. They responded right away and brought us fresh coffee beans within the hour. I know this seems minor but it left a lasting impression on us. It would have been a big inconvenience to go back into the town (at least a 20 min drive) to get beans.
It meant a lot to us and set the tone for the entire stay.

Was a great space for a Maine trip! Located roughly between Portland and Acadia National Park, if you don’t mind driving a bit it’s perfectly situated to see and do a ton.

After several messages we got it figured out and finally got in but our ice cream for dessert didn't survive the wait. The bathroom rug was wet but otherwise the place was really nice and exactly as shown. It is a bit smaller than I thought but it was perfect for us. Very cozy and peaceful! The host was great in addressing the few little things and we would happily stay there again on our next trip to Maine.

The property was definitely the most unique AirBNB we’ve stayed in! Inside, we felt like at home, and the interior is very well designed, smells and feels clean. The host is also very flexible and accommodated us very nicely! If you’re looking to visit Acadia National Park, I’d highly recommend staying here. It’s about 1 hour away from the park, with options for gas, supermarkets, and other stuff around. Thanks again for hosting us!

It was an hour drive to bar harbor and Acadia but the drive was so beautiful and went to nearby towns. Love the aesthetic of stone house. Beds were comfortable and warm. The complementary snacks was also nice after getting in at midnight.

We used this a a base to explore Arcadia National Park & it was lovely to return to after a day of sightseeing. The home had everything we needed plus more to make our stay comfortable.
