We had a really nice stay overall. The home was easy to get to, and the hosts were excellent with communication from start to finish. Instructions were clear and easy to follow, which made check-in and the overall stay seamless.The house itself is very comfortable with a great open floor plan that made it perfect for lounging with coffee in the morning and gathering for family-style dinners. There were games, interesting photos, and little knickknacks throughout the home that made for fun conversation pieces. The bedrooms were all comfortable and there’s lots of natural light throughout the house.One of our favorite parts was the front window with the bird feeders, we loved hearing and watching the birds, and a couple of cardinals visited throughout the weekend. The hot tub was fantastic and so relaxing, the water pressure in the showers was great, and the house was well stocked with extras like toilet paper, blankets, and trash bags. The speaker system was also a nice bonus.We also appreciated that the home is pet friendly, which is a huge plus for those traveling with dogs and it wasn’t obvious at all by looking at the home or from any smell.The only downside was that we did notice a few cleanliness issues. Nothing that ruined the trip, but it’s an area that could use a little more attention.Overall, we had a great stay and would recommend the home for people looking for a comfortable, relaxed place to gather.
This is a truly beautiful home, surrounded by nature and filled with fresh air and peaceful energy. The private access to the pond and outdoor furniture made it perfect for relaxing and enjoying the surroundings. Seeing deer right next to the house was an incredible experience.

We especially loved the sunny den/office attached to the master bedroom – the views from there are absolutely breathtaking. We also appreciated the fireplace, which added a warm, cozy atmosphere, especially in the evenings.
The outdoor sauna is a standout feature; it’s easy to use and a fantastic addition to the experience.

This was such a unique and beautiful place! From the endless rolling hills that offer stunning views and so much privacy, to the blanket of millions of stars at night, to the daily visits from the cows who live nearby; our experience here was nothing short of magical! The walls of glass windows make you feel completely one with nature, all while nestled safely within the gorgeous interiors of the home. We absolutely plan to come back!
What a lovely place. I stayed at Out Back for a work trip upstate, did not expect to be 5 doors down from a little mom and pop grocery, a coffee shop, and a restaurant. Was such a lovely, quiet stay especially with the fire pit out back, I even popped next door late at night to the connivence store for s’mores stuff!
Space was beautiful, clean, and every detail of my stay thought of. Will be back for pleasure next time!

We had a wonderful spring ski stay at the Hot Toddy! The location is perfect, right in the heart of Stowe, equally distant to the mountain and town. The townhouse is super warm, cozy and comfortable. Hosts were easy to communicate with and we had no issues at all during our stay. We will be back without a doubt!!
The cottage was very nice. We loved the aesthetic and layout, all the natural wood. the living space was great for our family. All of the board games were awesome to mix into our hang. We truly appreciated the hosts accommodating our family and enjoyed every second of it. Being so close to Ludlow and Singleton’s was also a bonus!
My stay at the Red Cottage was absolutely wonderful. The property itself is charming and beautifully maintained, but what truly made the experience exceptional was the caretaker. His attention to detail, warmth, and genuine care elevated every aspect of the visit. He anticipated needs effortlessly and made everything feel seamless and welcoming. It’s rare to encounter that level of dedication—he truly made an already lovely stay unforgettable.
We planned a ski weekend with our family and decided to stay at Red Cottage. The location was ideal. The house was beautiful and so spacious. Every room was beautifully decorated and super clean. The kitchen was equipped with all necessary tools and amenities. We look forward to staying here again in the future.
Our stay was perfection – the house is minimalist, cozy, chic, and warm! Super clean, kitchen is well stocked, and our oldest daughter loved the “bed under the stairs” (think it’s a reading nook but a perfect extra bed for a little one)! We loved the fire pit and the indoor fireplace. It was a perfect house for our fam of 4, but definitely would have worked with another small family as well! We had great dinners at Silvia and Cucina in Woodstock, the best breakfast sandwiches at Bread Alone, and loved our visit to the Catskill Animal Sanctuary which is so special for anyone with kids who love animals! Great location and vibe!
House was beautiful with a lot of natural light. The grounds also allowed for hiking right on the premises as well as several other outdoor activities. Can only imagine how nice it would’ve been with the pool/hot tub open during the spring/summer months.

Place was perfect for our family of 4. Everything was clean and it had pretty much everything you could ask for. Full kitchen, washer/dryer. Having shower separate from toilet is key as well. Even though it is below a Tattoo parlor, we only heard them for a few hours one day after skiing. Would definitely stay there again!

We are all able to work remotely, and there was plenty of space for us all to work. We mostly preferred working together at the dining table, but there were several desks in various rooms where we could take meetings or work quietly.
Then, in the evenings, we went for hikes, drank wine, played board games, watched TV, and enjoyed the hot tub. Hot tub was great and already hot, nothing we had to do but open it up.
Expect to drive 10-15 minutes for hikes and dinner in town. I recommend the Outer Loop North trail for a leisurely 3 mile hike. We went to the Taphouse Grille in Windham and loved it. If you plan ahead with a reservation, try Casa Susanna. It’s unbelievable how good it is.

Beautiful property and lovely, peaceful surroundings. The hosts were responsive and helpful and the house was very nicely decorated and felt very high end.

The hot tub looked out over the lawn and forest and was a highlight of the trip! Highly recommend as an escape and looking forward to another stay!
